Reimbursement of Uniforms for New Youth Referees

In an effort to encourage Youth participation in refereeing, FC Fremont has offered a program where youth referees can receive reimbursement for their referee uniforms. This program is only available to those referees that referee games for FC Fremont.

Here are the details:

• You must be a new referee (never refereed before or previously registered with USSF).
• You must be a Fremont resident under the age of 18 by the first regular season game of the FC Fremont season in September.
• You must successfully complete (attendance and test score) the USSF sanctioned beginning referee course.
• You must referee 20 FC Fremont regular season games in order to qualify for the uniform reimbursement.
• You must submit your detailed receipt (original or legible photocopy) to the FSRA Treasurer no later than 1 month after your last assignment in the year you became a referee.
  A detailed receipt should show exactly which referee items were bought and the total for each item.
• The total of reimbursement will not exceed $70.00.
• Reimbursement eligibility expires on December 31 of the year following referee accreditation.

It is recommended, but not required, that new youth referees who plan to participate in this program order the Starter 11-piece Kit (Item # 1808) from Official Sports Incorporated (800-782-2614). We believe that this kit is the most complete and cost effective kit on the market. The total reimbursement amount will cover this kit�s cost and shipping to the Fremont area.
