Reimbursement of USSF Registration Fees

In an effort to encourage and support active participation of refereeing in Fremont, the FC Fremont board has adopted a policy to reimburse the yearly registration fees of those referees that actively participate in the league. This program is only available to those referees that referee games for FC Fremont.

Here are the details:

  • Referees who have successfully completed the Entry Level referee course in Fremont (thus their registration check was never cashed) are not eligible for reimbursement on that year’s registration fees (it should have been free for successful completion of the course if taken in Fremont).
  • Referees are required to referee at least 10 regular season or tournament games in Fremont during the same year in which they are requesting reimbursement (this is less than one game per weekend).
  • Referees are required to submit the following to the FSRA Treasurer by the last day of November of the year in which you are seeking reimbursement; 1)A photocopy of their registration card (See picture below) for the year in which they are seeking reimbursement. 2) A list of all (10) games refereed during the year including game #’s, dates, times, teams, locations, and other officials on game (if any).
  • Referees are only eligible to receive reimbursement for the same year’s registration. (Example: Even though you pay the 2003 registration fees in 2002, you can not submit reimbursement until you receive your 2003 registration card, and completed the 10 games during the 2003 season).
